Returns & Exchanges
At AbayaVida, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you experience any issues with your order, please review the policy below carefully.
You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your item, subject to the conditions outlined below.
Return Process
To initiate a return or exchange:
- Contact our customer support team at support@abayavida.com within 5 days of receiving your order.
- Provide your order number, clear product images, and the reason for your request.
- If your request is approved, we will provide you with the return address and detailed instructions.
Once we receive the returned item, it will be inspected. If approved, we will arrange either:
- A replacement item, or
- A refund (where applicable under our policy).
Please do not send items back without prior approval.
Conditions for Return or Exchange
We only accept returns or exchanges if:
- The item is damaged
- The item is defective
- We sent the wrong size or incorrect item
We do not accept returns for items that are:
- Simply unwanted
- Ordered incorrectly by the customer
Size & Measurement Policy
Please carefully review the size chart available on each product page before placing your order to ensure the correct fit.
- Minor measurement differences of ±1 inch may occur due to manual measurement.
- Such small variations are considered normal and do not qualify as defects.
If the product delivered matches the size you originally selected, we cannot accept a return based on fit preference alone.
Product Finishing Disclaimer
As we provide affordable abayas at competitive prices, minor thread ends or slight finishing variations may occasionally be present.
These small details:
- Do not affect wearability or overall quality
- Are not considered defects
- Do not qualify for return or exchange
Item Condition Requirements
All returned items must be:
- In original condition
- Unused and unworn
- With all original tags attached
- In original packaging (if applicable)
Items that do not meet these requirements may be rejected.
Size Exchange (Customer Preference)
If the item delivered matches the size originally ordered but you still wish to exchange it:
- You must return the item at your own shipping expense
- A fixed £20 exchange fee will apply (to cover international return handling and re-dispatch)
- Once we receive and inspect the item, we will dispatch the replacement
Please note:
- Refunds are not available in this case
- Exchange is the only option provided
Shipping & International Return Information
Due to current global logistics disruptions and war-related transport restrictions, all orders are temporarily dispatched from our China warehouse.
If a return or exchange is approved:
- The item must be returned to our warehouse address in Nanjing City, China
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
International shipping costs are currently very high. However, we continue to offer free shipping on all orders as a courtesy to our customers.
For this reason, a £20 shipping and handling fee applies to approved exchanges to help cover international return processing and re-dispatch costs.
